Blackstone Security Solutions was founded in 2009 by David Meaklim, a highly experienced security solutions specialist. Our teams are trained across core security disciplines from discreet close protection and residential security through to specialist corporate guarding and event security solutions services.
Every team member and their career is important, and we recognise that they are ambassadors for our company and yours as well as representing and safeguarding private individuals. To ensure we maintain our high standards of service we recruit and train the very best staff and are committed to investing in employees and continually evaluating our services. For example, we directly employ our dog handlers, rather than outsourcing this service, and this, combined with stringent, regular training, ensures we provide only the most effective and safe partnerships.
Our teams are supported by Skyguard’s personal safety devices as well as Gallinet’s specialist employee and lone worker safety monitoring and outsourced control room services. Radios, mobile phones and additional personal protection equipment are also provided. Our guards and officers are uniformed, unless otherwise requested, and our fleet of vehicles marked with prominent signage. Blackstone Security Solutions is ISO9001 accredited, has NSI Gold certification and SafeContractor approval, and is committed to furthering our accreditations within the industry.
All of our security staff meet government regulations. They are SIA licensed and vetted, screened to BS 7858 (the government standard for security screening), meet the standards required under BS 7499 (static site guarding and mobile patrol service code of practice) and BS 8517 (code of practice for the use of general purpose security dogs) and are DBS (CRB) checked.
Employees that work with children undergo enhanced DBS checks and receive child protection awareness training.
